2ndstflip Bathroom
Final Reveal

A dated bathroom in a flip house was gutted down to rotted subfloors and rebuilt with patterned cement tile, black faucets, and vintage accents.

Posted October 23, 2017 · by Kassina Folstad

Pretty much any flip house will need at least one new bathroom. We knew from the get-go that this house had great bones. It was structurally sound, the mechanicals and electrical were updated, and the windows were recently replaced. However, the finishes were dated and it was really lacking the wow-factor that draws in buyers.

The house is located in a cool, creative neighborhood where the selling price of homes is perfect for first-time home buyers and young families. We went bold with our design choices keeping the likely buyer in mind, yet had to be creative since the budget was tight.

The After

We renovated this house in just over 7 weeks. Within 4 days on the market it had 14 showings and sold with multiple offers over asking price. Check out how we turned this outdated bathroom into a cool and vibrant space.
